Our tours cover Eastern, Western and Northern Cape, Kruger National Park, Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Swaziland, KwaZulu Natal, Lesotho, and are conducted by THETA (SATOUR) qualified tourist guides in English, German and various other different languages.

We also offer transfers/shuttles and chauffeur services in and around Port Elizabeth, Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg.

Our tours cover the whole of Southern Africa and neighbouring states. Arrangements can be made for travellers with special interests such as bird-watching, Eco, architecture, star gazing, gardens, luxury train travel, Mohair & Merino tours and fossils.

Prices include Bed & Breakfast in 3 to 5 star hotels, or down to earth Bed & Breakfast establishments as well as Back Packers. Dinner can be included on request.

About Umzantsi Afrika

Umzantsi Afrika Tours has been in operation since 2002

and is run by Lyn and Peter Haller

• Lyn is Operations Manager as well as a THETA (SATOUR) qualified and registered tour guide. She was born in South Africa, a descendant of German and British settlers and has a great passion for her country's fauna, flora and historical heritage.
• Peter is an Austrian-born citizen who has been a resident in South Africa since 1969. He is a qualified, registered tour guide with THETA (ex SATOUR) and is fluent in both English and German. He has extensive experience in cultural, nature and geological/fossil tours.

Umzantsi Afrika Tours offers guests the opportunity to create their own packages, enabling guests to pick and choose from a variety of activities, and create something more personalised for their holiday. As South Africa becomes the destination of choice to more and more visitors, Umzantsi Afrika Tours has increased the company's available tour schedule to cater for this influx.

We are constantly on the lookout for new tour destinations which would complement our existing tour portfolio and we can assist you in creating your own adventure by combining adventure or specialised activities.

We like to get a feel for what the guests really enjoy, and because of our flexibility we are happy to accommodate everyone regardless of age, fitness level and considering factors such as budget, duration, and time.

If there is something particular that you would like to see or something special that you would like to organise, like a Honeymoon with champagne or a surprise for someone, we will go out of our way to make your experience a memorable one.

Corporate activities and end of year staff parties are also one of our specialities.
